Help Babies Thrive with Your Breast Milk Donation.

The Birthing Department at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) is partnering with Mother’s Milk Bank in San Jose to host a «Milk Drive» in August, which aligns with Breastfeeding Awareness Month. We are encouraging people to drop off their frozen breast/chest milk donation:

Wednesday, August 27
11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
on the ZSFG campus at
1001 Potrero Avenue, San Francisco, CA.

Zuckerberg San Francisco General is a certified «Baby-Friendly» designated Level 1 Trauma Center and Hospital. We provide world-class care for all the people of San Francisco, regardless of ability to pay or immigration status.

Mother’s Milk Bank is the oldest operating non profit milk bank in North America. They have helped set the industry standard for milk collection and donation.

How Do I Participate?

This event is open to the general public. All birthing parents who have extra breast/chest milk to donate are encouraged to drop off their frozen milk on the day of the event.

Get Pre-Screened for Easy Drop-Off. To make your drop-off quick and hassle-free, ensuring your donated breast milk can quickly help a premature baby thrive, streamline the breast milk donation process by completing a brief 5-minute health screening:

You can also sign up when you drop-off your milk on August 27.

Drop off your breast/chest milk in frozen form. The milk must be within 9 months from the day of expression and labeled with the date and time.
