The City’s rules regarding behested payments can be found Article III, Chapter 6 of the Campaign and Governmental Conduct Code. These rules are clarified through Ethics Commission Regulations and are discussed on the Ethics Commission website.
Additionally, Form 700 filers within DPH are required to disclose certain gifts and are subject to annual gift limits.
The DPH Statement of Incompatible Activities (SIA).pdf also contains additional rules regarding gifts, including a prohibition on gifts from anyone other than the City for providing specific City services.
