Anesthesia Pre-operative Services

If you’re having surgery at Zuckerberg San Francisco General, you’ll be scheduled for a visit with us. We want to get all the information we need to make your surgery smooth, effective, and safe. You’ll also have a chance to ask any questions you might have about your surgery.

What to expect:

• We’ll review your medical information and the medications you take
• We’ll ask questions about your health
• We’ll explain options for anesthesia and answer your questions

For Your Visit:

• Please remember to bring all of your medication bottles with you.
• Complete the pre-surgery questionnaire found below
• Review instructions on how to prepare for surgery found below
• Learn more about Methods of Anesthesia and their risks when you fill out the consent form found below.
