Urgent care is for those in San Francisco needing same-day urgent medical care for illnesses or injuries that are not life-threatening.
Call 911 or go to the Emergency Department if you have a serious or life-threatening illness or injury, signs of labor, a psychiatric emergency, or any of the following symptoms: Chest pain, sudden dizziness or faint, severe injury or bleeding, sudden vision loss, difficulty speaking or breathing, severe abdominal pain.
